Why choose solar lighting?

Traditional electricity is taken from petrochemical energy sources, which is highly polluting and unsustainable. Solar clean energy is pollution-free and inexhaustible. The replacement of petrochemical energy by solar power generation is an inevitable way for the sustainable development of human society.
Compared with traditional city circuit lighting, solar lighting greatly reduces the construction cost. Solar energy street lights are free of trenches and wiring, and the construction cost is only 1/10 of the traditional city circuit lights.

Installation of solar LED lighting can be an effective way to ensure safety while eliminating the ongoing costs of utility services and monthly electricity bills. Solar lighting is a fixed one-time cost and eliminates the electricity bill that will increase year after year.

Suppose Mr. A buys a 90w city circuit light 135USD/set, cable 8USD/m x 30m = 230USD, plus trenching wiring installation labor cost 50USD, plus 7m light pole 125USD/SET, total cost is about 540USD/SET; Mr. B purchased a solar street light for 475USD/SET, free of trenching and wiring, the construction fee is only 30USD per pc, plus 7m light pole 125USD yuan, the total cost is about 630USD/SET; such a solar street light than the city The initial installation cost of the circuit lights has only increased by 90USD. Now let's calculate the daily use cost. First, look at the electricity cost of the city's circuit lights. 90w x 12hrs x 365days=394.2kwh x 0.3usd/w=118USD, that is, the annual electricity bill is 118USD per week, and the solar street light is 0 USD. According to the service life of each street lamp for 15 years, 118USD x 15 years = 1770USD minus the cost of 90USD for initial installation, which is equivalent to saving 1272USD for every street lamp in 15 years, then hundreds of millions of lights on market in the world are replaced with How much will solar street lights save?

In addition, LED lighting eliminates the annual cost of traditional lighting replacement bulbs, reducing life cycle and fixture installation costs. It may not sound like a lot, but it may be important in some light bulb changes.

The most cost-effective long-term alternative is solar LED lighting. Solar lighting gets electricity from the sun, not the power company, reducing your total energy costs. LED lights not only burn brighter, but also last up to 15-20 years, improving reliability and reducing maintenance costs.Bluesmart Solar Lighting has solar LED lighting solutions in most cases. Our products are designed for commercial highways and street lighting & area lighting, as well as lighting systems to meet a variety of other needs. If you want to light up city roads, highways, or other large areas, Bluesmart Solar Lighting's solar LED street lights are your reliable choice. We are willing to work with you to create a living space that fully meets your lighting needs.

6 things you need to considering before buying solar street light?

1) Appropriate output light amount (lumens value).

You may not know, but the city has lighting requirements to meet safety regulations. Bluesmart has extensive experience in lighting codes and requirements. We use the IES (Lighting Engineering Association) guide for all applications. Guideline RP-33-99 External Ambient Lighting is a standard guide used by Bluesmart to help you determine which lamp is right for your application. The RP-8 is the industry standard and Bluesmart will use the IES guide to determine your road lighting requirements.

2) Color temperature

The color temperature of LED street lights can range from 3000 Kelvin (yellow) to 4500 Kelvin (yellow white) to 6500 Kelvin (white light). You can choose different color temperatures depending on the lighting environment. The image below will help you understand the color temperature.

Can I accept the time-limited power-down lighting? Do I need to turn on the lights all night? Output power, running time is proportional to cost. The greater the output power of the lamp, the longer the turn-on time, and the higher the cost of the battery and solar panel.

3) Running time

Can I accept the time-limited power-down lighting? Do I need to turn on the lights all night? Output power, running time is proportional to cost. The greater the output power of the lamp, the longer the turn-on time, and the higher the cost of the battery and solar panel.

There is a direct cost associated with output power, runtime, the longer the light is on, the more it will cost in batteries and solar panels.

4) Rainy day backup

Do you really need a 5-7 days backup? Usually a 3-day dusk to dawn backup is ample runtime operation. A 5 to 7 days backup directly increases battery cost, while providing only 2 days of power, you can only use it once or twice a year. If the sun is 90% of the time, you may not need to spend extra money unless it is a security issue.

5) Width & length of the road

please clearly understand the lighting environment you need, whether it is road lighting or regional lighting. Road lighting is generally divided into highways, urban roads, and country roads, providing specific road lane layouts, road widths, road lengths, road traffic, and traffic flow. The area lighting is generally for industrial factory lighting, dock lighting, parking lot lighting, living square lighting, providing area and lighting installation location.

6) Pole height and the type of pole

we offer a variety of poles to meet your solar pole needs. We offer steel, fiberglass, aluminum, straight, square, round steel and many other options, including poles for high wind environments. We are always on hand to provide you with the solution that best suits your budget.

A worry-free process is coming, and our staff is happy to help you.
